Tucker Jones, 19, of Jackson died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Jackson. His sister, Krystal Jones, also died in the accident.

He was born July 30, 1984, in Creston, Iowa, son of Harold and Victoria Skinner Jones.

Jones was a 2003 graduate of Elgin High School in Elgin, Okla., where he competed in football, track, cross country and basketball. He was an all-state champion in track in the two-mile relay and the mile in 2001.

Survivors include his parents of Jackson; two sisters, Melissa Jones of Oklahoma City, Okla., Shelby Jones of Lawton, Okla.; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Shirley Skinner of Kansas City, Mo.; and paternal grandparents, Bobby and Julia Jones of Dadeville, Mo.

The funeral was held Monday at the Fine Arts Center in Elgin, with burial in Elgin Cemetery.

Robbins Funeral Home in Fletcher, Okla., was in charge of arrangements.
