MARBLE HILL -- Truman L. Green, 82, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Jan. 21, 1995, at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill.
He was born Aug. 22, 1912, at Patton, the son of Levi and Minnie Bollinger Green. On Aug. 21, 1945, he married Lela Price, who survives.
He attended New Salem Baptist Church in Marble Hill, and he was a retired timber worker.
Other survivors include a son, Marion Green of St. Charles; two daughters, Geraldine Brewington of Chaffee and Kelly Vester of Marble Hill; a brother, Dewey Green of Patton; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Clifton Trentham and the Rev. Randy Poole will officiate, and burial will be in the Patton Cemetery.
