PERRYVILLE -- Trula M. Sewing, 85, of Perryville died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center. She was born Jan. 24, 1914, at Lixville, daughter of Ferdinand and Pollie McGraw Propst. She and Otis Roy Sewing were married Feb. 20, 1938...

PERRYVILLE -- Trula M. Sewing, 85, of Perryville died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center.

She was born Jan. 24, 1914, at Lixville, daughter of Ferdinand and Pollie McGraw Propst. She and Otis Roy Sewing were married Feb. 20, 1938.

Sewing had been a cook at Immanuel Lutheran School and a nurse aide at Perry County Nursing Home. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim and its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Katherine French of Perryville; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church in Friedheim. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
