TROY I. HENDRIX

OAK RIDGE -- Funeral service for Troy I. Hendrix of Oak Ridge will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Howard Huddle will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Hendrix, 77, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 18, 1918, in Burfordville, son of John W. and Katie Allard Hendrix. He and Lala V. "Sue" Pennebaker were married March 24, 1939.

He was a self-employed farmer most of his life, and also worked in timber.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Troy, Gary and Stephen Hendrix, all of Jackson; two daughters, Rosalee Hendrix of Oak Ridge, Becky Eftink of Jackson; two sisters, Adell Hartle of Jackson, Bessie Cooper of Fredericktown; 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
