Private graveside service for Tristan John and Connor Travis Schaefer was held Tuesday at St. Mary's Cemetery.

The twins were born Monday, March 1, 1999, in Aurora, Ill., sons of Geoffrey and Valerie C. Holland Schaefer of Mooseheart, Ill., and formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Connor died Wednesday, March 3, and Tristan died Friday, March 5, 1999, at Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago.

Survivors include their parents; a sister, Gwynneth Schaefer of the home; maternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Holland of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandparents, Roland and Sharlyn Schaefer Jr. of Imperial; maternal great-grandmother, Anna Schott of Cape Girardeau; and paternal great-grandmother, Bernice Schaefer of Affton.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
