Trevor Michael

Trevor Michael, son of Joseph Lee Michael and Phyllis Kay Workman, was born Feb. 28, 1964, in Columbia, Missouri, and departed his life Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, at his home in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by family at the age of 59.

Trevor was an avid motorcycle rider and loved cooking barbecue. He had worked at Edgewater Glass for more than 12 years and was a member of Teamsters Local No. 600. He graduated from Scott City High School in 1982.

On June 15, 2013, he married Kim Meunier in Memphis, Tennessee. She survives.

Apart from his wife and parents, he is also survived by one daughter, Kaylyn Jo Michael of Chaffee, Missouri; two sisters, Suzanne (Greg) Innis of Eads, Tennessee, and Brandi (J.R.) Brainer of Scott City; three nephews, Collin (Andee) Fraley, Rylie Brainer and Cooper Brainer; two nieces, Alexius (Ashley) Skeen and Allie Brainer; and two precious dogs, Holly and Julia.

Trevor was preceded in death by his stepmother, Julie Michael; two uncles, Rex Walker and Bob Michael; and an aunt, Sonnie Michael.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
