Tracy Allen Wyatt, age 52, of Jackson passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, at his home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1966, in Sikeston, Missouri, the son of Ralph E. Wyatt and Dennis O. and Reba E. Figley Meyer.

Tracy married Teresa Edwards Aug. 14, 1993, in Sikeston.

He was a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1985. He attended the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of Delta Psi fraternity and played the trombone in the Ole Miss Marching Band.

Tracy returned to Cape Girardeau and graduated from the police academy at Southeast Missouri State University. He worked 11 years for the Sikeston Department of Public Safety and for the past several years he enjoyed farming, raising cattle, chickens and a variety of other animals on his farm near Pocahontas. Tracy also served as the assistant baseball coach at Saxony Lutheran High School.

Loving survivors include his wife of 25 years, Teresa Wyatt; a son, Blake Wyatt; a brother, Mark (Jessica) Wyatt; his mother, Reba (Dennis) Meyer; nieces and nephews, Pfc. Jake, Miranda and Jack Wyatt, and Jason (Michelle) Clements, and his mother-in-law, Lenora Goza, all of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Wyatt.

The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Saxony Lutheran School baseball team.
