Trace Allen White, 31, of Jackson passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at his home.
He was born Oct. 11, 1988, in Sikeston, Missouri, son of Danny and Sabrina Nance White.
Trace was a line supervisor for Midwest Sterilization in Jackson. He was a loving and devoted father, who always put his children first. Anyone who knew Trace also knew his passion for animals, especially dogs. He served as director of Sikeston Humane Society for several years.
Loving survivors include his companion and former wife, Jody White of Jackson; mother and stepfather, Sabrina and Doyle VanVickle of Sikeston; father, Danny White of Sikeston; children, Layla White, Olivia White and Steven Claussen, all of Jackson; brothers, Gage Nance of Bertrand, Missouri, Michael White and Tristan White of Sikeston and Josh VanVickle of Essex, Missouri; sisters, Kyleigh Nance of Sikeston and Sarina White of Hornersville, Missouri; and maternal grandmother, Rebecca Nance of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Dossy Nance; paternal grandfather, Daniel White; and his best friends, Butters and Jayden.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe McCulley officiating. Private inurnment will be at a later date in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
