Tonya Gwen Goodin, 39, of St. Charles, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001, at Troy, Mo.

She was born Sept. 30, 1961, in Rockford, Ill., daughter of Clarence H. and Evelyn L. Bowers Carnell. She and Eddie Goodin were married Sept. 30, 1979, at Delta, Mo.

Goodin was a graduate of Delta High School. She worked in the insurance department at Internal Medicine Group, owned and operated Little Country Daycare in Cape Girardeau 10 years, had been a supervisor at Cataract and Eye Disease Inc. in St. Charles, and most recently was medical biller at Radiology Imaging Consultants in St. Charles.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Joshua Goodin of Cape Girardeau, Scott Goodin of St. Charles; a daughter, Cortney Goodin of St. Charles; her parents of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Bill Carnell of Jackson, Mo., Mark Carnell of Dutchtown, Mo., Craig Carnell of Gordonville, Mo.; and a sister, Christey Heath of Jackson.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Donny Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
