MARBLE HILL -- Toney O. Marler, 77, of Marble Hill, died Monday, Jan. 10, 1994, at his home.
He was born Oct. 26, 1916, at Pilot Knob, son of George and Susie Hagger Marler. He and Sarah McDonald were married in 1938.
Marler moved to the area in 1965 from Hopedale, Ill.
Survivors include his wife of Minier, Ill.; four daughters, Martha Haberland of Lincoln, Ill., Barbara Phillips of Atlanta, Ill., Ruth Howard of Fairbury, Ill., Joy Reese of Springfield, Ill.; two brothers, Arthur Marler of Glen Allen, Walter Golden of Potosi; four sisters, Lucy Ross of Linn Creek, Liza Boyer of Festus, Argene Boyer of Old Mines, Annie Rollins of Potosi; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters and a brother.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
