WHITEWATER -- Tommy Keith Thompson, 59, of Whitewater died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born July 29, 1940, at Yount, son of Leo P. and Ruth Ann Harris Thompson.

Thompson owned and operated a gasoline station. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include five brothers, Leonard Thompson of Midlothian, Texas, Ralph, Ray, Lester and Leo "Duke" Thompson, all of Perryville; three sisters, Eva "Florence" Coffey of Hannibal, Ruby "Leona" Johnson of Denison, Texas, and Ruth Dodds of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Whitewater Christian Church. The Rev. Ronald Payne will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville is in charge of arrangements.
