KELSO, Mo. -- Tommie Lucille Stubenrauch, 78, of Kelso, formerly of Bloomfield, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 6, 1927, at Painton, Mo., daughter of Thomas H. and Mary Jan Faughn Harmon. She married Herman Emil Stubenrauch Sept. 20, 1947, at Chaffee, Mo. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1999.
Mrs. Stubenrauch was a beautician many years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Doris Stubenrauch of Kelso; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Steve Gates of Brockwell, Ark.; a brother, Daniel P. Harmon of Marble Hill, Mo.; two sisters, Louise Getz of Glasgow, Mo., Mary Rhodes of Arnold, Mo.; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Geri and Jason Lawless of Arnold; three grandsons, Howard Stubenrauch of Kelso, MM3 Justin Gates of Kingsbay, Ga., Tommy Gates of Brockwell; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Lawless.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. There will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m., followed by Knights of Columbus prayers.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Oliver Clavin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
