JACKSON -- Funeral service for Tommie Marlin of Jackson will be held at 3 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Doyle Randol will officiate, with burial in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. today.
Marlin, 92, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 9, 1899, in Clinton, Ky., daughter of Jake and Kate Hale Craig. She and Lester Marlin were married Oct. 30, 1915. He died Oct. 10, 1988.
Marlin had been a salesclerk at JC Penney, and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include a son, Bill Marlin of Irondale; three daughters, Mary Crites of Jackson, Peggy Brumley Newman of Henderson, Nev., Delores Luton of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter and two sons.
