Tom Steimle
Tom Steimle, 57, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away Monday, June 9, 2008, at his home.
He was born July 1, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, son of Richard and Eva Steimle.
Tom was a sales manager most of his life in Missouri, Texas, New Hampshire, Georgia and Kansas. The last six years he was an airport shuttle driver at Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City, Mo., where the friendships he developed with his clients brought him some of his happiest years.
Survivors include two brothers, Doug (Ruth) Steimle of Kentucky Lake, Tim (Megan) Steimle of Chaffee, Mo.; children, Laurel (Casey) Brenner-Myers, Lucas Brenner and Lindsey Brenner; a granddaughter, Lydia Margaret Brenner, all of Mission, Kan.; many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge. Those who knew Tom are welcome to attend and share memories with family and friends.
