STURDIVANT, Mo. -- Tom Mayberry, 53, of Sturdivant died Saturday, Oct. 29 2004, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St.Louis.
He was born Oct. 3, 1951, in Sturdivant, son of Raymond and Polly Hahn Mayberry. He and Karen Beal were married Sept. 7, 1985, at Advance, Mo.
Sturdivant was a 1969 graduate of Advance High School. He was a deckhand for Luhr Brothers and a member of the First Baptist Church in Advance.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Danny Mayberry of Chaffee, Mo., David Mayberry of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Tina Skaggs of Kinder, Mo., and ReDawn Howard of Sturdivant; his father and stepmother, Raymond and Sidney Mayberry of Advance; two brothers, Donnie Mayberry of Zalma, Mo., Tony Mayberry of Rockwood, Ill., a stepbrother, Mark Grindstaff of Louisville, Ky.; two stepsisters, Shawn Sales of Farmington, Mo., Tiffany Deimund of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
