Vernon "Tom" Dietiker, 73, of Crestview, Fla., died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007.
He was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, son of Charles Daniel and Lovy Pippin Dietiker.
Dietiker was a graduate of Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was a professional photographer, owning and operating M&S Photo 21 years.
He moved to Northwest Florida in 1980 and owned Pro Quality Photo four years in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Dietiker was affiliated with Southside Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau and was a member of New Beginnings Church in Crestview. He was a member of the Gideons more than 25 years.
He served a brief time in the military.
Survivors include his wife, Lena "Maggie" Orona Dietiker; four sons, Michael Dietiker of Fort Walton Beach, Charles, James and David Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Martha Hastings of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Charles and Bill Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at New Beginnings Church, with Raymond Williams officiating.
Brackney Funeral Service in Crestview is in charge of arrangements.
