STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Timothy Warren Richards, 55, of Ste. Genevieve died Friday, May 31, 2013, at his niece's home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 24, 1958, in St. Louis to the late Louis Warren and Marjorie Lee Richards. He was a tuckpointer and worked in concrete renovation and was a member of Local 527 Concrete Finishers Union. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was first married to Jennifer Gorsech and later was married to Tracey Smith.
A resident of this area most of his life, he was a member of Church on the Rock and of the VFW in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include three daughters, Jessica Diane Richards and Dana Lee Richards, both of Jackson, Mich., and Maykaylee Richards of Marble Hill, Mo.; two brothers, Michael Anthony Richards of Marble Hill and Daniel Louis Richards of Ste. Genevieve; one sister, Diana Lee Davis of Sikeston, Mo.; his maternal grandmother, Lee Esther Lee of Sikeston; two nieces, Kristina Lea Babb of Ste. Genevieve and Angela Diane Richards of Cape Girardeau; and his best friend, Kim Minner of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. at Blodgett Cemetery, with the Rev. Curtis True, pastor of Church on the Rock, officiating. Full military honors will be provided by Missouri Military Honors under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Steve Moore, Randy Sides, Larry Babb, Bob Fehr, Dylan Babb and Billy Minner.
