Timothy Edward Middleton, 59, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at his home. He was born Jan. 29, 1963, in Moses Lake, Washington, the son of Brown "J.R." and Doris Mirly Middleton Jr. Timmy had been the president of Mirly Truck Center and later Middleton Brothers Inc. in Advance, Missouri. Timothy Edward Middleton, 59, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at his home.

He was born Jan. 29, 1963, in Moses Lake, Washington, the son of Brown "J.R." and Doris Mirly Middleton Jr.

Timmy had been the president of Mirly Truck Center and later Middleton Brothers Inc. in Advance, Missouri. In 1988, he received an award as the top salesman in the country for International Harvester. He was a member of La Croix Church.

Timmy was an avid golfer and enjoyed bicycling. He was known for his outgoing and very likable personality.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon (Courtney) Middleton of Advance and Tyler Middleton of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Logan T. (Logan) Page and Alicia Middleton, both of Cape Girardeau; brother, Mike (Julie) Middleton of Pelham, Alabama; grandson, Lucas Shipman of Advance; and a host of other family members and friends.

Timmy was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Doris Middleton; maternal grandparents, Ed and Annis Mirly; paternal grandparents, Brown and Edith Middleton Sr.; and three aunts, Ruth Tolle, Charlotte Taylor and Patricia Bess.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating.
