TILLIE WOOD

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Tillie Wood of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Verlee Eaker and Al Slayter will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until service time.

Wood, 92, died Friday, June 4, 1993, at her home.

She was born Jan. 3, 1901, at Brookland, Ark., daughter of William H. and Martha Ellen Roberts Hammack. She and John H. Wood were married March 15, 1924. He died July 15, 1978.

Wood was a charter member of Anna Heights Baptist Church, and member of Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen Brimm of Anna; two grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and a brother.
