Funeral Mass for Bertilla Marie "Tillie" Loos of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Loos, 87, died Monday, June 1, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Sept. 1, 1910, at Millersville, daughter of Barney and Helen Scherer Heisserer. She and William Loos were married June 4, 1932, at Jackson. He died May 20, 1954.
Loos was a graduate of Nerinix Hall High School in Webster Groves, and attended Southeast Missouri State University.
She worked in the laundry department 32 years at St. Vincent's Seminary. She was a member of St. Vincent's Church and its Council of Catholic Women.
Survivors include five sons, William "Bill" and Richard "Dick" Loos of Cape Girardeau, John "Jack" Loos of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., George Loos of Mission Viejo, Calif., Gerald "Jerry" Loos of Peoria, Ill.; three daughters, Sally Deevers of Cape Girardeau, Carol Clark of Lexington, Ky., Kathleene Crabdree of Oakville; 22 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
