THRESA K. BERKBUEGLER

PERRYVILLE -- Thresa K. Berkbuegler, 93, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1994, at Perry Oaks nursing facility.

She was born March 24, 1901, in Perry County, daughter of Louis and Katherine Fassold Ernst. She and Edward M. Berkbuegler were married Oct. 24, 1922. He died April 7, 1973.

Berkbuegler was a member of Christ the Savior Church in Brewer and Blessed Sacrament Sodality.

Survivors include two sons, George Berkbuegler of St. Marys, Melvin Berkbuegler of Perryville; three daughters, Alma Mattingly of St. Marys, Mildred Zahner and Gladys Renaud of Perryville; two sisters, Corena Laws of Foley, Luella Otto of Ste. Genevieve; 22 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two half brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday. The wake service is at 7 tonight.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the Savior Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
