Thomas S. Wright, 70, formerly of Charleston, Jefferson City and Farmington died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at the Fountainbleau Lodge at Cape Girarflict and the Vietnam War. He was then employed with the Missouri Department of Corrections at Jefferson City to 1986, then transferred to FarmSt. Louis, Thomas S. Wright Jr. of Richland, Richard Wright and Ronald Wright, both of Mexico and Sgt. Scott Wright of Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Sherry Thomson of Mexico and Rhonda Eitel of Hannibal; three brothers, Jacob "Jack" Wright of Chaffee, Charles Wright of Searcy, Ark. and William "Bill" Wright of Brentwood; two sisters, Peggy Berbling of Topeka, Kan., and Pat Frayser of Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Fort Leonard Wood will provide full military honors for the funeral service.
