COBDEN, Ill. -- Thomas Lee Witthoft, 48, Cobden Route 3, died Wednesday, May 29, 1996, near Cobden.
He was born April 5, 1948, at Campbell Hill, son of William F. and Mary Brenneman Witthoft. He and Peggy Crowden were married Dec. 30, 1995, at Cobden.
Witthoft was a truck driver with Cook Sales in Cobden. He was a member of Eagles Lodge and National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Lora McCoy and Michelle Butler of Anna, Angie Bunch of Mill Creek; three sons, Rodney McCoy of Anna, Jimmy and Michael Burton of Sikeston, Mo.; his parents of Anna; seven brothers, William Witthoft Jr. of Cobden, Bob and Donald Witthoft of Anna, John Witthoft of Marissa, Jim Witthoft of Campbell Hill, Roy Witthoft of Edwardsville, Wayne Witthoft of Oxford, Ohio, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
