GLEN ALLEN -- Thomas W. Anderson Sr., 80, of Glen Allen died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill.
He was born May 13, 1918, at Berkley, Ky., to George D. and Edna Lalone Anderson.
He married Mae Burns July 4, 1942.
He was a member of the Glen Allen United Methodist Church, a World War II veteran, a retired rural mail carrier, as well as a member and past master of Trowel Lodge 440, American Legion, VFW Post 5900, Sword of Bunker Hill and the Royal Arch Knights Templer.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wayne Anderson and Bob Anderson, both of Glen Allen; a daughter, Mary York of Glen Allen; two sisters, Earlean Hafner of Titusville, Fla., and Pauline Hastings of Marble Hill; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. W. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Allen Cemetery.
