Thomas Rendleman Sr., 92, of Bell City was born March 22, 1911 at Ullin, Ill., the son of the late Gabriel and Georgia Goodman Rendleman, and passed away May 17, 2003 at his home. Tom was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church for more than 68 years; he was also a charter member of the Bell City Rotary Club. Thomas Rendleman Sr., 92, of Bell City was born March 22, 1911 at Ullin, Ill., the son of the late Gabriel and Georgia Goodman Rendleman, and passed away May 17, 2003 at his home.

Tom was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church for more than 68 years; he was also a charter member of the Bell City Rotary Club. He was a 1931 graduate of Bell City High School.

Tom and Mona Bollinger were united in marriage on July 27, 1935 in Kennett, Mo. and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Thomas H. Rendleman, Jr. of Bell City; two daughters, Suzanne Boswell of Scott City and Mary Hart of Advance; three sisters, Marcia Kinder and Joann Johnson, both of Painton and Virginia Jenkins of Advance; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bell City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Linda Zych officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bell City School Foundation or the Stoddard County Children's Home.
