Thomas Parks

ANNA, Ill. -- Thomas E. Parks, 86, of Urbana, Ill., formerly of Anna, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at his home.

He was born Aug. 12, 1919, in Alto Pass, Ill., son of Guy Clay and Margaret McCumisky Parks.

Parks was a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Washington University and the University of Illinois.

He was a life member of American Library Association and member of the Illinois Historical Society.

Survivors include a brother, Harold Parks of Lexington, Ky.

Private burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
