MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Thomas James Charles Neeley, 74, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at his home.

He was born June 10, 1927, in McDougal, Ark., son of Homer Lonzo and Nellie Davis Neeley. He and Geneva Birchett were married Jan. 4, 1947, in Corning, Ark.

Neeley had been assistant foreman of highway maintenance with Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Margaret Bishop of Tonkawa, Okla., Lorrine Largent of Wellington, Kan., Joyce Jones of Topeka, Kan., Charlotte Sedan of Ponca City, Okla.; two sons, Charles T. Neeley of Tonkawa, Charles Wayne Neeley of Marble Hill; a foster daughter, Lorena Ellis of Marble Hill; four brothers, Homer Neeley of Patton, Mo., Clinton Neeley of Arkansas City, Kan., William Holland of Florida, Jerry Holland of Arkansas; three sisters, Loretta Woods of Arlington, Texas, Floy Howe of Corning, Gertrude Williams of Bangor, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Hutchings Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Tonkawa, with the Rev. Richard Thomasen officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery at Tonkawa.

McCafferty-Bolick Funeral Home in Tonkawa is in charge of arrangements in Oklahoma.
