Thomas R. McGraw, 48, of Fort Madison, Iowa, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Ill. He was born March 25, 1964, in Fort Madison, to Loy and Ramona Seabaugh McGraw. Thomas R. McGraw, 48, of Fort Madison, Iowa, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Ill.

He was born March 25, 1964, in Fort Madison, to Loy and Ramona Seabaugh McGraw.

Tom was a heavy equipment operator with Midwest Operating Engineers Local 150 about 22 years, and with Local 537 2 1/2 years. He was a 1982 graduate of Fort Madison High School, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Izaak Walton League.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1989.

Tom enjoyed his job and traveling, grilling, reading western books, playing cards, John Wayne and classic rock music. Tom was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Jeff Gordon, St. Louis Cardinals and Missouri Tigers.

Survivors include two daughters, Krystal (Jake) Ball of Donnellson, Iowa, Jozie (Jake) Mader of Columbus, Mont.; a sister, Tami McGraw of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Trevin Ball, Adriana Ball and Anna Mader, and a grandchild on the way; maternal grandparents, Buford and Imogene Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; and all his brothers in the union.

He was preceded in death by his parents and paternal grandparents.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at King-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Fort Madison.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be Monday at Sargent's Chapel Cemetery in Sedgewickville, Mo.
