MARBLE HILL -- Thomas Joseph Lawler III, 38, of Miami, Fla., died Sunday, May 23, 1999, in Miami.

He was born March 15, 1961, in Keflavik, Iceland, son of Thomas Joseph and Margret Baeringsdottor Lawler Jr.

Lawler was a graduate of Virginia Beach High School in Virginia Beach, Va. He served in the Virginia National Guard.

He was a computer analyst.

Survivors include his mother of Marble Hill; three sisters, Sigga Smelter of Memphis, Tenn., Agnes Liley of Marble Hill, and Cathy Higginsbotham of Virginia Beach.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Baker Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Whitehouse will officiate.

Hutchings Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
