Funeral service for Thomas C. Hill, 1514 Whitener, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Brant Hazlett will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday. A Masonic service will be held at 7.
Hill, 89, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994, at his home.
He was born Oct. 17, 1904, in Cape Girardeau, son of Thomas Warren and Katie Sherman Hill. He and Audrey Bucy were married April 20, 1935, in Terre Haute, Ind.
Hill worked at International Shoe Co. 15 years. He was then a clerk at Cape Girardeau Post Office 35 years, retiring in 1973.
He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, where he was treasurer 30 years, and was a vestryman 25 years. He was also a member of Harold Grauel Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Thomas M. Hill of Grandview; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
