BENTON, Mo. -- Thomas Leroy Bradham, 66, of Benton died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at his home.
He was born Sept. 6, 1937, at East Prairie, Mo., son of George Herbert and Rae Catherine Nunn Bradham. He and Wilma J. Owens were married June 5, 1956, in Corinth, Miss.
Mr. Bradham served in the U.S. Army from June 9, 1955, to July 31, 1975.
He was a clerk at the U.S. Post Office in Sikeston, Mo. He was a member of First Baptist Church in East Prairie, American Legion Post 114 in Sikeston, and VFW Post 04294 in Charleston, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Thomas A. Bradham of Grand Rivers, Ky., Kevin R. Bradham of Dexter, Mo., Kirk R. Bradham of Kiev, Ukraine; a daughter, Sandra L. Nelson of Benton; a brother, Charles H. Bradham of Alexander, Ark.; a sister, Emma Lou Overby of East Prairie; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Benton from 6 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with full military rites by Missouri Military Honor Guard.
