CHAFFEE -- Theta I. Myers, 81, of Chaffee died Wednesday, March 16, 1997, at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was born Sept. 17, 1915, at Perkins, daughter of William Francis and Jessie Irwin Myers. CHAFFEE -- Theta I. Myers, 81, of Chaffee died Wednesday, March 16, 1997, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 17, 1915, at Perkins, daughter of William Francis and Jessie Irwin Myers.

Myers retired as a sewing machine operator and floor lady at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Gibbons of Pasadena, Texas; two brothers, Stanley Myers of Chaffee, Joseph Myers of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
