Theta Clifta Nussbaum, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 1, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 13, 1908, at Gordonville, the daughter of John and Caroline Elhebe Sebastian. On April 13, 1939, she married George W. Nussbaum, who preceded her in death March 21, 1957.
She worked for 13 years as a housekeeper at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau before her retirement in 1971. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville and the church's Ladies Aid.
She also belonged to the Ladies Senior Aid at Trinity Lutheran Church at Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son Dewey J. Nussbaum of Sesser, Ill., two daugthers, Katherine A. Lynn of Benton and Mary E. King of Oak Ridge, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Karl Leeman will officiate, and burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gordonville.
