Funeral Mass for Theresa Holzum of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate, with burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Leopold.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel after 4 p.m. today, and after 8 a.m. Friday. Parish prayers will be at 7 tonight.

Holzum, 65, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 22, 1932, at Leopold, daughter of John and Dina Stoverink Wubker. She and Fred J. Holzum were married Jan. 29, 1955, at Leopold. He died July 13, 1967.

Holzum worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. 20 years, and had also worked at Ralph Edwards Sportswear and the Lutheran Home.

She was a member of St. Vincent's Church and Council of Catholic Women, Missouri Citizens for Life, Missouri Right to Life, Birthright, and assisted nursing home residents in attending church services. She was a past member of St. Vincent's and Notre Dame Home and School, and had been active in Girl Scouting.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Kern of Benton, Joan Schrieber of Springfield; a son, Fred Holzum of Springfield; her mother of Jackson; a brother, Richard Wubker of Oran; six sisters, Angela Beussink and Rose Mary Beussink of Jackson, Helen Berhorst of St. Peters, Laverne Steinhaufel of St. Ann, Margaret Dudley of Aurora, Colo., Agnes Van De Ven of St. Louis; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
