Theora "Theo" Kaempfer, 89, 418 South Spring, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 21, 1902, in Prescott, Ark., daughter of Ross and Ida Robinson Rebman.
She married William C. Kaempfer in September 1923 in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Sept. 15, 1947.
She worked as an operator for telephone companies in the Cape Girardeau and Sikeston areas for a number of years. From 1948 to 1980 she was an office nurse for Dr. John T. Crowe.
She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and First Presbyterian Church here.
Surviving are a son, David Kaempfer of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Clarence Rebman of Rolla; two sisters Rosemary Renner of Cape Girardeau, Betty Webb of Anaheim, Calif.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Revs. Charles Grant and Ed Brasington will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
