SCOTT CITY -- Theodore J. Jackson, 68, of Scott City and formerly of Sikeston died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 10, 1923, at Morley, the son of the late Thomas J. and Myrtle Cruse Jackson.
He was a self-employed carpenter, retiring in 1984. He also was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include two sons, Lindsay Jackson of Perryville and Dan Jackson of Sikeston; six daughters, Diana Householder and Beverly Owens, both of Benton, Barbara Lacy of Morehouse, Rebecca Householder of Sikeston, Patricia Skelton of East Prairie, and Kathy Robinson of Oran; two brothers, Forrest Jackson of Bay, Ark. and Joe Jackson of Sikeston; six sisters, Dorothy Bryeans of Morley, Jewell Elsperman and Wanda Schwartz, both of Scott City, Frances Sanders of Chaffee, Betty Lentz of Sikeston, and Jan Bivens of Vanduser; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Lee Fansler will officiate, and burial will be in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
