ANNA, Ill. -- Thelma May Thomas, 90, of Anna died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at City Care Center. She was born June 6, 1915, in Pickle, Ark., daughter of Charles and Dora Bailey Garrison. She married Bacel Thomas, who preceded her in death. Thomas lived most of her life in Salem, Ill. She was a waitress and cook 17 years at Austin's Restaurant...
ANNA, Ill. -- Thelma May Thomas, 90, of Anna died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at City Care Center.
She was born June 6, 1915, in Pickle, Ark., daughter of Charles and Dora Bailey Garrison. She married Bacel Thomas, who preceded her in death.
Thomas lived most of her life in Salem, Ill. She was a waitress and cook 17 years at Austin's Restaurant.

Survivors include four daughters, Patsy Finn of Beach Grove, Tenn., Ruthann Rankin of Ullin, Helen Phillips of Paducah, Ky., Dora Collins of Searcy, Ark.; a brother, Randy Palmer of Salem; a brother, Oliver Garrison of Woodstock, Ill.; three sisters, Mabel Harwood of Woodstock, Juanita Ashley of Paducah, Ky., Genevieve Sorg of Pocahontas, Ark.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
The funeral and burial will be private.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
