CHAFFEE -- Thelma H. Paul, 88, of Chaffee died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Jan. 26, 1908, in Ravenden Springs, Ark., daughter of Aulcy E. and Florence Hurt. She and Orville T. Nall were married in 1928. He preceded her in death. She and Wilfred Paul were married in 1948. He died in 1980...

CHAFFEE -- Thelma H. Paul, 88, of Chaffee died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Jan. 26, 1908, in Ravenden Springs, Ark., daughter of Aulcy E. and Florence Hurt. She and Orville T. Nall were married in 1928. He preceded her in death. She and Wilfred Paul were married in 1948. He died in 1980.

Paul had worked at International Shoe Co. in Sikeston, and at shoe factories in St. Louis and Washington, Mo. She formerly attended Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include a son, James Nall of Sikeston; two stepbrothers, Mike Hurt of Licking, Harold Hurt of Pocahontas, Ark.; two stepsisters, Doris Wolfe of Oregon, Ill., Virginia Kenyon of Ridgedale; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Dr. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
