ANNA, Ill. -- Thelma A. Lingle, 78, of Anna died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at her home. She was born Dec. 29, 1921, in Anna, daughter of Otto and Nora Jane Barred Fear. She and Earl Lingle were married Oct. 3, 1967. He died April 2, 1982. Lingle was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church...

ANNA, Ill. -- Thelma A. Lingle, 78, of Anna died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at her home.

She was born Dec. 29, 1921, in Anna, daughter of Otto and Nora Jane Barred Fear. She and Earl Lingle were married Oct. 3, 1967. He died April 2, 1982.

Lingle was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Aden of Jonesboro, Pauline Bond of Spring Green, Wis., and Mary Burke of Naperville.

She was preceded in death by five brothers.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mission Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time.
