CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Thelma Lucille Petrungaro of Charleston will be held at 3 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bill Meeks will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery near here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m.
Petrungaro, 81, died Thursday, June 10, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born May 3, 1912, in Mississippi County, daughter of Jess and Dixie Baker Douglas.
Petrungaro was an operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in St. Louis, retiring in 1963. She moved back to Charleston in 1989.
Survivors include a sister, Norma Humphrey of Charleston; a half brother, Vernon Douglas of Charleston; four half sisters, Gladys Simmons of East Prairie, Nettie Counter of Zalma, Imogene Martin of Truxton, and Opal Freeland of Charleston.
