Kortmeyer was formerly of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held Jan. 4 at Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home in St. Charles, Mo. Burial was in Grace Land Cemetery in Burke, S.D.
