Thelma Mae Himmelsbach, 84, of Jackson died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at Monticello House.
She was born May 14, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Webster Clyde and Ada Belle Robinson Smith. She and Eugene Himmelsbach were married Feb. 3, 1946. He died Dec. 1, 1992.
Himmelsbach was a graduate of Jackson High School. She had been a bookkeeper at Werner-Rob in Denver, retiring in 1990. She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Treece of the state of Florida, Gena Peterson of the state of Missouri; a brother, Joe W. Smith of Jackson; four sisters, Jean Seabaugh, Naomi Crites and Mary Lou Marshall of Jackson, Alice "Vickie" Statler of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
There is no visitation or service.
Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
