JACKSON -- Thelma E. Williamson, 68, of Jackson died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 29, 1924, at Haleyville, Ala., the daughter of William and Alice Flanigan Head. She married James Williamson at Malden, and he preceded her in death Sept. 4, 1978.
She was a member of the Jackson Church of Christ, and was employed for several years at Deal Nursing Home in Jackson, prior to her retirement in 1980.
Survivors include a son, James Williamson of Jackson; a daughter, Hazel Rush of rural Millersville; a brother, Wallace Head of Chaffee; six sisters, Belma Townley of Advance, Velma Rainey of Chafee, Sue Angle of Cape Girardeau, Della Cobb of Chaffee, Lella Herring of Holly Springs, Miss. and Shirley Statler of Obedia, Fla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jerry Culbertson will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
