CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Thelma Louise Dalton, 83, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Henry and Irene Cline Cooper. CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Thelma Louise Dalton, 83, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Henry and Irene Cline Cooper.

Thelma was a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Chaffee, and a cook at Chaffee Head Start. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony "Tony" (Pam) Dalton of Trophy Club, Texas, and Jeffery "Jeff" (Theresa) Dalton of Hamilton, Missouri; three daughters, Vicki Seyer of Chaffee, Kimberly "Kim" Parker of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Julie Pickens of Chaffee; a brother, Terry (Evelyn) Cooper of Doniphan, Missouri; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Cooper; and a grandson, Austin Allen.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in St. Ambrose Church Cemetery.
