Thelma "Ann" Crites, 63, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at her home.

She was born Jan. 10, 1949, in Leslie, Ark., daughter of John D. and Thelma Tester Hilton. She worked at the former Hosiery Mill; the former Lenco in Jackson; and Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau. She was a CNA at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She enjoyed camping, boating, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Red Hat Society, a former Brownie leader and member of the Sun Beams Extension Homemakers Club.

Loving survivors include a son Robert "Bob" (Mary) Crites of Jackson; a daughter, Lisa Ann (Bryan) Crites-Archer of Millersville; three sisters, Anita (Bill) Kunath and Sharon Nunn, both of Chicago, and Noma Colangelo of Florida; four grandchildren, Ricky Felty of Millersville, Jordan Maurer of Marble Hill, Mo., and Bailey-Ann Crites and Calen Crites of Jackson; and former husband and lifelong friend, David Crites of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bobby and Johnny Hilton; and three sisters, Judy Bragado, Florence Taylor and Connie Watkins.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau. Memorials may be made to Lutheran World Relief.
