SIKESTON -- Thelma C. Boren, 72, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born May 26, 1921, in Prescott, Ark., daughter of Noah and Edna Guidry Champagne. Boren was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church here. She was a former member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas, minister and member of Young at Hearts and member of Bible Study Group at the church...

SIKESTON -- Thelma C. Boren, 72, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born May 26, 1921, in Prescott, Ark., daughter of Noah and Edna Guidry Champagne.

Boren was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church here. She was a former member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas, minister and member of Young at Hearts and member of Bible Study Group at the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Greenlee of Sikeston, and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Brigid Church. The Rev. Mike Kenney will officiate, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio.

Friends may call at Zizik-Kearns-Riebe-Saunders Funeral Home in San Antonio after 7 tonight.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
