THELMA BRIDGES

ELCO, Ill. -- Thelma O. Bridges, 80, of Elizabethtown, Ill., formerly of Elco, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, Ill.

She was born July 2, 1920, in Northfork, W.Va., daughter of Byron and Gladys Stafford. She married George W. Bridges.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Daniel Bridges of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Georgia Webb of Tamms, Ill., Gladys Reese of Griggsville, Ill.; a brother, Earl Stafford of Texas; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Sims Cemetery at Elco.
