OLMSTED, Ill. -- Thelma Matilda Bagby, 90, of Olmsted joined her beloved husband in heaven Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at her home. She would have been 91 Saturday.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, James Leo, in 2007; a grandson, Joseph Edward Bagby; a great-grandson, Michael Brent Childress; parents, Otto and Louise Schwieger; and four brothers, Cecil, Norman, Raymond and Loren Schwieger.
She is survived by a son, James E. Bagby and wife Janis of Paducah, Ky.; a daughter, Ruth Ann Allcock and husband Michael of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Jimmy Bagby and wife Karen; a great-grandson, Blake; great-step-granddaughter, Ashlea Sontag; great-great-step-grandchildren, Bryan and Zoi Sontag, all of Paducah; a granddaughter, Janna Childress and husband Todd; great-granddaughter, Kristin Nace; great-great-grandson, Aiden Nace, all of West Paducah; a grandson, Darren Allcock and wife Nicole; and great-grandsons, Luke and Matthew Allcock of Cape Girardeau.
Also two sisters, Ruth Wasson and Louise Golightly of Metropolis, Ill.; four sisters-in-law, Mary Schwieger and Connie Schwieger of Cape Girardeau, Laura Stephens of Paducah and Carolyn Schwieger of Olmsted and their families; and care givers, Kim Mayer, Pam Pribble and Melody Richardson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Phil Davis officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
