PERRYVILLE -- Thelma L. Adams, 77, of Perryville died Monday, Sept. 15, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Perry County, daughter of Walter N. and Leona Gibler Cambron. She and Arthur A. Adams were married Nov. 17, 1945. He died July 30, 1980.
Adams had worked at International Shoe Co. and at Prince Gardner.
She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer, Blessed Sacrament Sodality, Daughters of Isabella, VFW Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Adams of Clarksville, Tenn., Paul Adams of St. Marys; a daughter, Linda Zahner of Perryville; a sister, Norma Huber of St. Marys; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-9:20 a.m. The wake is at 6 p.m. today.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ the Savior Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
