Theda May Johnson, 79, of Savoy, Texas, formerly of Cape Girardeau, went home to our Heavenly Father on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015.
Theda was born Nov. 26, 1935, in Cape Girardeau to the late Fred A. Moore and the late Frances "Patsy" Diamond Moore. She married the late Martin Leander Johnson on Nov. 6, 1955.
Theda is survived by a son, Marty (Wanda) Johnson II of Savoy; a daughter, Linda (Barry) Jones of Glen Rose, Texas; grandsons, Martin (Carol) Johnson III (children, Cody, Russell, Christian, Dalton and Molly), Jerrod (Tina) Seabaugh (children, Emily, Luke, Grace, Sam and Christian, and grandson, Thomas) and Andrew (Missy) Seabaugh (child, Rylee).
In addition, she is survived by six brothers, Harold Moore of Cape Girardeau, John (Jean) Moore, Tom Moore and Tony (Marilyn) Moore, all of Oak Ridge, Harry (Patty) Moore of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, and Tim (Barb) Moore of Jackson; and four sisters, Janet (Gary) Seib of Cape Girardeau, Pam Powless and Frances (David) Leimer, both of Jackson, and Edie (Randy) Kagy of Gerald, Missouri.
Theda was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Vincent, Fred and Nollie Moore; and an infant sister.
There were no funeral services at Theda's request.
Scoggins Funeral Home and Crematory in Van Alstyne, Texas, was in charge of the arrangements.
